Unique maps are recognized by their distinct red or green color. They are permanent. Instead of having the ability to recycle them, the player has the ability to abandon them, which resets all your progress on such map but allows starting a different one and does not destroy the abandoned unique map. If a unique map has unclaimed items that can only be unlocked on the map, it will be green. If all the items have been claimed, the map will be red.
The following unique maps are currently in the game (in chronological order):

- Dimension of Anger (20)
- Trimple of Doom (33*)
- The Prison (80)
- Bionic Wonderland (125)
- Imploding Star (170)
(Note the numbers to the side are the map levels required to gain them by doing a map)
*This map is unlocked in a random cell in the main zone.
