Unique maps are special maps that are recognized by their distinct red or green color. They are permanent.
Instead of having the ability to recycle them, the player has the ability to abandon them, which resets all your progress on such map but allows starting a different one and does not destroy the abandoned unique map. If a unique map has unclaimed items that can only be unlocked on the map, it will be green. If all the items have been claimed, the map will be red.
There is also one normal map that is unique, the Tricky Paradise map unlocked upon reaching zone 6.
