Proper application of Geneticists combined with the Anticipation perk will result in a sustained 600% increase in damage.
With Geneticists, especially running in conjunction with Anticipation, it is recommended to enable the More Breed Timer setting in Settings -> General -> Less Breed Timer. This will increase the precision of the number of seconds on your current breed timer.
This setting will also add a secondary time next to the breed timer, which is the number of seconds that will be required for Trimps to breed to full after a group of soldiers is sent. This is useful to know exactly how many seconds of Anticipation will be accumulated on average each time soldiers fall in battle.
You only get the health bonus for the lowest amount of geneticists you've had for the duration of the breeding since the last army was sent. Also, you will only get the health bonus if the breeding has completed.
